Directions:
Start with a dowel to hold everything together at the top
Stamp white fabric paint to the denim giving it some imperfections, which adds character to the piece
Cut and rip the materials at different lengths
Lay out the design to make sure everything is color coordinated
Glue everything together and attach to the dowel
You can also add other items like rings to give the flag your own personal touch
Since the materials are not weather resistant, its best to keep this flag indoors
Take your beautiful flag and attach on the wall!
Watch Tanya demonstrate how to make your own DIY vintage American flag in the video below!
Home & Family airs weekdays at 10:00 a.m. EST on Hallmark Channel.
